Saw a friendly robin on the last day of my holiday

This is the picture of the robin that I took on the last day of my holidays. He is sheltering from the rain but still singing! In 'Bluebell Lodge', Valentine the robin explains to Daisy that not all robins are called 'Robin', and they all have their own names! I am not sure what this little robin is called so I have named him 'Happy', as he doesn't seem to mind the weather. Male and female robins look indentical which means that 'Happy', could be a female. Young birds have no red breast and are spotted with golden brown.
Robins have been associated with Christmas since Victorian times when they appeared on Christmas cards, decorations and tableware. I always look out for items with robins on them, and have a collection of robin ornaments. There is always room for another if I see one when out shopping!
