Roman Baths

It is a lovely day for a visit to the Roman Baths. I have been many times but can never resist another visit. Once the site of one of the great religious spas, the people of Roman Britain came to the site to worship the goddess Sulis Minerva and bathe in the waters of the natural thermal springs.
I always wonder how many people have walked along the ancient Roman pavements since the baths were built 2,000 years ago. Were any of them taking a break from writing or looking for inspiration as they relaxed in the warm waters? Thank goodness I can create stories on my laptop and don't have to write on papyrus using a metal pin dipped in ink.
