This is a corner of my lounge where my desk is, and I can sit and think about what I want to write next. I imagine that I am walking down the path in the picture deep into the bluebell wood, and the characters from my first book 'Bluebell Lodge' are waiting to meet me. These characters and some new ones will be appearing in my follow up book. If I look hard enough I am sure that I can see Mrs Flowerdew's cottage beyond the trees. Perhaps she is asleep in her chair by the fire today, or sitting on her purple cushion in the clearing at the bottom of the path.
