Blackbirds
May 15, 2024 by Susie Keene

There is one blackbird in my garden who is trying to get my attention. He flies down and lands on the fence and sings to me from dusk until dawn. I think he is asking me to include him in my follow up book to 'Bluebell Lodge'. Perhaps he is trying to sing his name to me! I will keep listening in the hope of hearing it soon.
Did you know that each individual male blackbird has a repertoire of at least 100 song-phrases?
