I visited Beamish Museum today to see the new exhibits. Amongst other things there was a 1950/60s toyshop with a doll's hospital inside. Quite a lot of doll's need mending but there wasn't anyone around to fix them. Hopefully they will all be looking brand new soon. Maybe the fairies from 'Bluebell Lodge' could help out. I wonder if Mrs Flowerdew had any dolls like these when she was a little girl.
